UI/UX Design in theory and practice

What will target group-oriented design look like in the future? At Macromedia University you can study coding in connection with interface design and provide answers to burning design questions in an increasingly digital society.

Students’ projects:

• Optimized UX design: The aim of the project was the UI overhaul of an existing call seeker application in order to improve the user experience.
• Music Platform: Design students created a concept that music schools can use to teach their students online during the pandemic.
• Digital Museum: Drafts for a museum app were created for the Bürkle Kunstraum, which makes art tangible. The focus was on UI and UX.

With your specialisation in UI/UX design, a career is open to you in which creativity and a feel for target groups are required. Exciting challenges await you in agencies, the media sector and other industries after you graduate.

• User Experience Designer (UX): With your skills you create an optimal user experience and actively influence the development of exciting new apps.
• User Interface Designer (UI): Thanks to your skills, the interaction of users with the interfaces of apps and hardware becomes child’s play.
• Digital Art Director: As a digital art director, you conceive digital designs and accompany every step from the idea to the finished product.
