It provides knowledge about the history, politics, economics and social and cultural development in Latin America, the Caribbean and the Hispanic USA, as well as knowledge in Portuguese.
The Bachelor Programme is a comprehensive, interdisciplinary program focusing on the diverse regions of Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Spanish-speaking parts of the United States. This 180-credit program spans six semesters and offers a deep dive into the region's history, politics, economy, and social and cultural development. Students choose a specialization in either Spanish or Portuguese, which forms a core part of their studies alongside courses in Latin American Studies.
The curriculum is designed to provide students with both theoretical and practical knowledge, integrating social sciences and humanities.
