In the Master in Economic Policy, all students follow compulsory courses in Applied Welfare Economics, Macroeconomics, Applied Econometrics and Research Methods in Economics. Besides those, you choose one of two modules.
Graduates take up key positions in government agencies, both at the national and international levels, while others enroll for a PhD and pursue an academic career. Alumni become consultants, economists, project managers and policy officers for organisations like the European Union, KPMG, Greenpeace and The World Bank. Almost 90% of them found a job within 6 months after graduation.
As an Economic Policy student, you can take part in a Double Degree programme together with Maastricht University (Netherlands). This gives you the unique opportunity to study at two top universities and obtain 2 Master's degrees while doing so. In your first year, you study Economics in Maastricht, and in your second year Economic Policy in Antwerp.
